Hearing disabilities can rang from mild to completely deaf. You can be born with this impairment. You can also get it from an injury to the head, and a direct in injury to the ear itself. When I was younger, I used to practice sign-language a lot. I wish I would of continued with it. It is such a helpful skill to have.
